charlotte petty is a maker, educator, and researcher. she is inspired by her work with young children, and tries to channel their sense of play, powerful imagination, and BIG feelings when creating in any medium. she likes to make playful objects that feel special to someone of any age.

she has been drawing since she was old enough to hold a pencil, and first learned to throw clay at the wheel in 2017.

charlotte was a preschool teacher for nearly a decade, and now works in early childhood research. she lives in cambridge, MA with her partner and their rabbit.
