DETAILS
TIMELINE: Commissions take 4-8 weeks to complete once we confirm the design and quote. The timing is depending on the object(s), my capacity, and certain things beyond my control such as studio firing times. One item can typically be completed in the 4-5 week window. Larger or more complicated items, or items requiring custom illustration or surface design, will take closer to the 8 week mark. I am not currently taking commissions for sets of more than 4 items.
PRICING: Pricing is item dependent. After you send me initial details, I will send you back a quote with a price range taking into account materials cost, making time, any custom surface design, and relevant oversize firing fees. The final price will base on these factors; the final price will never exceed the quoted range. If the time for completion exceeds 8 weeks due to studio firing times, I will provide a discount.
Oversize firing fee: My studio has fees in place for any pot larger than 10". The details of this calculation are below, and will be factored into final pricing.
HOW TO REQUEST A COMMISSION
To request an item, please send me an email or DM with the following things:
Description: A general description of the type of object(s) you’re interested in
Size: General sizing range in inches (or in ounces for vessels if you prefer)
Surface design: Your preferences for surface design––dip glaze, or illustration; if you would like custom illustration, please provide a general description
Reference: If you like, you can include any photos for reference, either for the shape/form of the item and/or for surface illustration
